But now it seems Malo has uncovered an ancient artifact called the Box of Death, which can supposedly be used to open a bridge between the natural world and the abyss. That would unleash thousands of creatures, both weak and powerful. The natural world would never be able to fight back against the power of the Dead Magic, and we would be hopelessly outnumbered. Imagine if all the Lords of the Dead, like Zhophes and Skree, roamed free in the natural world - all at the same time. We would never be able to fight them off, not even with the power of the dragons to aid us.
And unfortunately, that's what we possibly have to look forward to. Ugh! I'm not sure I'm ready for this new chapter in the battle with the Dead Magic. I think after the battle of Taxco, we've earned ourselves a vacation.
But I guess if we actually took one, we'd probably just end up encountering some long-lost creature summoned by Balthazar. After all, the last time we tried to go shopping - of all things - we ended up having to fight the monster Reptillo.
Well, at least a girl can dream, can't she?
