I Lost My Hammer

Ugh! The Storm Hammer is gone. I loved that weapon. Not only did it remind me of Zhephyrus, but it had a lot of awesome power built into its spark.  It served me well during our battle with Malo.

But now, it's gone!

I guess I shouldn't be too sad, though. I had combined the sparks of the water and lightning magic, but now, thanks to some weirdness I never saw coming, it has become the Trinity Hammer, and the fairies took it with them back to the Realm of Magic, the one, united Realm of Magic.

And that's going to create problems. Now, instead of only worrying whether the armies of the Sprites will attack the natural world, we have to worry whether they will attack the other lands inside the Realm of Magic. It's enough to drive a wizard crazy. We spend so much time fighting to defend the natural world that there isn't much time left for anything else. And now, we're going to have to fight to defend the Realm of Magic, too.

I imagine there will definitely be some interesting stuff coming in the future. But I have to say, I'm not so sure it's such a good thing the Realm of Magic is once again united...

That was Interesting

Well, that was interesting. I gotta say, I never thought the battle over the final fragment of The Box of Death would go like that. If you missed it, you'll get to see some of my healing powers at their very best. We also got to use one of those bridging potions we created.

I thought about using my power on Jolie after she got walloped pretty good out there.`But she's my sister, and I knew she would fight through the pain. If I had to heal her, it would have weakened her to the point of having to bridge back to Stonehenge, and she was not going to leave us out there without her. That's just not like her. And I'm glad she didn't.

A lot of interesting things happened during that battle. The weirdest one I'm sure someone else will tell you about. But I have to say, after what happened, things are going to become very interesting...

If you missed the final battle over The Box of Death, there's still time to download Book 2 of the Three Wizards Chronicles.

I'm Gonna Have My Work Cut Out for Me

I'm gonna have my work cut out for me. You see, I'm the only wizard with the ability to fly. Between my artifact ring and my magic, that means I'm get to be the one who keeps other flying creatures from ruining our day. And in the battle over The Box of Death, that means Mastema and the flying golem are my responsibility.

It would have been nice to have our dragons available for this battle, but unfortunately, because we have to go touch our physical connection points and then quickly bridge to wherever it is we're going, there just isn't time to run back to the Realm of Light Magic and get them. We're gonna have to battle this out on our own.

That means I get to be our air support - just me, all by myself. The most difficult part - beyond not getting myself killed - will be trying to restrain Mastema long enough for Summer to purge him of the dead magic. So let's just add another bit of complexity to my role.

With any luck, the normals will provide some cover fire with their shotguns that fire shells tipped with the fragments of light magic artifacts. They won't be strong enough to destroy the golem or Mastema, but they may be strong enough to at least injure them, bring them to the ground. They'll be much easier to eliminate if we can ground them both.

Here's hoping!

Jolie has her work cut out for her in the final battle over The Box of Death. Will she be up to task? You don't want to miss this, so download Book 2 of the Three Wizards Chronicles now.

I'm a Bit Worried

I am certainly not looking forward to this battle with Malo. Between Nikko and Balthazar, I very nearly had myself a panic attack. I was already nervous going into this thing, but now...

I know no battle is ever easy. We've won many battles that could have gone either way. But this one is different. This time, the deck seems stacked against us, even more so than it did back in Taxco. But here we are, the only people who stand between Malo and his his desire to recreate the natural world as a new Realm of Dead Magic.

I have a sneaking suspicion I'm going to get a chance to use my healing bracelets at least once during this battle. Hopefully, if nothing else, I'll be able to use them to purge the dead magic from Stanley. At least then we won't have to keep fighting Mastema. We can keep our focus on the real bad guys.

I've gotta tell you people, I think we definitely have our work cut out for us. This is not going to be the most pleasant thing we've ever done. Let's just hope the future of the natural world remains secure.

Will Summer be able to free Stanley from the corruption of the dead magic? Will she and her allies be able to stop Malo? These questions and more are answered in The Box of Death, Book 2 of the Three Wizards Chronicles. Download it today.
